Common questions

Money, Quotes and Offers

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

New customers get $65 off their first service with us, whatever the job is, from a simple tap repair to a full emergency callout. There's no fine print excluding certain jobs.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. Turning up and having a look costs you nothing, whatever you end up deciding. You only pay for the price you approve.

How does your upfront fixed pricing work?

We assess the job first, then put one number on paper before any work starts. That figure stays put once you've approved it, no matter how long the job actually takes.

Does the price change once you start?

Only if what's involved genuinely turns out different once we're inside the job. If that happens, we pause, walk you through it, and get your sign-off on a new number before touching anything else.

Common questions

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

It means our workmanship is covered indefinitely, not for 30 or 90 days like some outfits offer. Should anything we've done fail later, fixing it is on us, no argument.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

Small things like a washer or a simple clear are usually fine to attempt. Anything involving the water supply, gas, or drainage connections legally needs a licensed plumber in NSW.

Can you check my licence number?

Yes, our licence is #465156C, and you can verify it any time at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au before we even arrive.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, licensed plumbers and gas fitters, fully insured for every job we take on, big or small.

Common questions

When We Can Come

What happens after I call?

A real person answers, takes down what's happening, and gets a licensed plumber briefed and moving. On site, we assess, quote it fixed, and get to work once you approve.

How fast can you get here?

We don't promise a set number of minutes, but same-day attendance is the target, and a real person answers whenever you call, day or night.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, genuinely, including weekends and public holidays. The same on-call team picks up after hours, not a machine reading a script.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Burst pipes, no hot water, a suspected gas leak, and sewage that's backed up into the house all count. If you're unsure, call and describe it, we'll tell you honestly whether it can wait.

Common questions

Local to Marayong

Do you take on local new builds and renovation work?

Yes, alongside emergency callouts, we handle renovation and new-build plumbing across Marayong and the surrounding suburbs.

Do you handle strata and units in Marayong?

Yes, including the townhouse stock that's grown across parts of Marayong since the 1980s, where shared systems need a slightly different approach.

How local are you, really?

Marayong is our home turf, and streets near Breakfast Creek and Marayong railway station are ones we're on regularly, not occasionally.

Why do Marayong's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

Much of the local housing traces back to the 1960s Housing Commission push south of the line. Original pipework and hot water units from that build-out have reached the age where sudden failures are common, and cold Cumberland Plain mornings only add to the strain.
